There are many excellent schools here, The highest rated is Mazapan. Expensive.
St. Theresa BiLingual...many others. You just need to come and check them out.
and see which one your son likes the best.
Rental houses are difficult. None that I know of by the sea.
The schools are in town and best to be there so your son can have friends nearby.
Many nice neighborhoods here.
I would recommend you come and spend a minimum of a week checking things out here.
It is impossible to do by internet.
Almost All rental houses here are totally unfurnished. Not even appliances.
Most are not built to American standards.. (like hot water or more than 1 plug in a room)
Most good rentals are gone in a few days.

Best way to get mail is get a G Box....a subsidiary of Fed EX.
Check it out when you come.
All your mail is sent to their address in Florida and then sent here.

I have already been to LaCeiba and visited some private schools. Talked to some Real Estate people"REMax" etc. about apartements and houses. etc. . Went to some Banks. Citi Bank ,FSBC etc. talked to some lawyers. walked around town. walked to the mall,Mega centro. supermarkets. - checked out some short term accom. aparta-hotel..
I don't anticipate any major problems. Thanks

Why can't I post I question to this site without signing in like 10 times. i wrote out the question. it then asked me to sign in, then the questions are deleted. I did this for like one hour. I don;.t have the time for this ,I needed to get some questions answered. I AM LEAVING THIS island in the Caribbean. 'but I I guess there is a technical problem with this .I will not post any questions until this is fixed. bye

It seems to be a glitch on most of the forums, I log in, write something up, post it and get a message that I must log in. Some people write their stuff on a word program and paste it in. I think its a software thing that goes back to the basic program.

When you log in, you might want to check the "log me in automatically" box so it remembers you. I just posted without having to log in again so maybe your cookie settings on the computer you're using aren't right. If you're at an internet cafe they could have cookies disabled and that would be the problem. What you can do though is type in a reply and once through typing, highlight the whole thing and hit Control C to copy. Then if you have to enter your login again, you just hit Control P to paste it in and you won't lose anything. Hope that helps!
